wych elm cabinets

All the wych elm cabinets are made from an avenue of trees planted around 1780.
Wych elm wood from such old trees is rare indeed and few remain anywhere in the UK.
The cabinets are traditionally constructed with mortice and tenon and dovetail jointing.
Drawer sides are in 12mm English oak and drawer bottoms in 9mm Silver birch.
Drawer knobs are available in either dark wood, or in sycamore inlaid with a laburnum centre button.
All cabinets are finished in a superb and resilient sprayed fine matt lacquer finish.
All that is required to clean is a wipe over with a damp cloth
